Read the Terms & Conditions for STB Electrical and Communication Services Pty Ltd. Licensed Perth electricians providing EV charger installations, solar, lighting, communications and commercial electrical services across Western Australia.

1. General

These Terms and Conditions apply to all electrical and communication services carried out by STB Electrical and Communication Services Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By engaging our services, the client (“you”, “your”) agrees to the terms outlined below.

2. Scope of Services

We provide a full range of licensed electrical and communication services across Perth and Western Australia, including but not limited to:

  • EV charger installation and solar integration

  • Residential electrical services (lighting, downlights, rewiring, repairs)

  • Commercial and industrial electrical projects

  • Data and communication cabling services

  • Safety inspections and compliance testing

  • 24/7 emergency electrical callouts

All work is performed by licensed WA electricians in compliance with the Electricity Act 1945 (WA), the Electricity Regulations 1947 (WA), and AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rules.

3. Quotes, Rates & Payments

  • Hourly Rates: Most services are charged at an agreed hourly rate plus GST.

  • Fixed Quotes: For certain projects, we may provide a fixed-price written quote. Any variations requested by the client may incur additional charges.

  • Deposits: For larger projects, we may require a deposit prior to commencement.

  • Payment Terms: Invoices are due within 7 days of completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late Payments: Overdue accounts may incur interest charges and recovery costs.

4. Emergency Callouts

  • A flat-rate callout fee applies to all after-hours and urgent electrical services.

  • Additional time is charged at our standard hourly rate (plus GST).

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Jobs cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time may incur a fee to cover allocated labour and scheduling costs.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule work due to safety concerns, site access issues, or unforeseen circumstances outside our control.

6. Warranties & Guarantees

  • All work is carried out in compliance with Australian Standards and WA regulations.

  • We guarantee workmanship for 12 months from the completion date.

  • Product warranties remain the responsibility of the manufacturer or supplier.

7. Client Responsibilities

  • The client must ensure safe site access and disclose any relevant site hazards.

  • Where work is carried out on existing installations, we are not responsible for faults or failures caused by pre-existing conditions.

  • The client is responsible for ensuring all required approvals (where applicable) are in place before work begins.

8. Liability

  • While all work is performed to Australian Standards, we accept no liability for loss, damage, or delays caused by circumstances outside our control (including supply chain issues, third-party contractors, or utility providers).

  • Our total liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
